DELL OptiPlex 9010 Mini Tower i7-3770 3.4GHz 8GB DDR3 1TB SSD Windows 10 Pro

Dell OptiPlex 9010 Mini Tower Desktop

The Dell OptiPlex 9010 Mini Tower is a business-class desktop built around a 3rd Gen Intel Core i7-3770 quad-core processor running at 3.40 GHz. It ships with 8 GB of DDR3 memory installed across four slots and a 2.5-inch 1 TB solid-state drive. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed, and a DVD±RW drive, USB keyboard, and USB mouse are included. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 handles video output.

DDR3 Memory Limits And Expansion

The system uses 240-pin DDR3 DIMM modules and all four memory slots are populated, leaving no free slots for additional modules without removing existing ones. The chipset supports a maximum of 32 GB of memory, so the current 8 GB configuration can be increased by replacing the installed sticks. Memory speed is limited to the DDR3 standard supported by the platform.

Upgrade From Older Hard-Drive Systems

This unit replaces desktops that still rely on mechanical hard drives, delivering much faster boot and application load times through its 1 TB solid-state drive. The jump is worthwhile for offices moving from 2nd Gen Core or earlier platforms that lack USB 3.0 and modern instruction sets. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, more than 32 GB of RAM, or a newer CPU socket should consider other platforms.
