45W Mag 2 AC Adapter

This DELL PA-45W adapter supplies 45 watts through a MagSafe 2 connector. It accepts AC 100-240V input at 50-60Hz and delivers DC 14.85V at 3.05A. The unit is compatible with MacBook Air 11-inch and 13-inch models A1435, A1436, A1465 and A1466 released between mid-2012 and 2017.

Suitable for mid-2012 to 2017 Air owners

Owners of MacBook Air 11-inch or 13-inch units from mid-2012 through 2017 can use this charger. It is not for machines released before mid-2012 that use the original MagSafe L-tip. It is also not for MacBook models from 2021 onward that require the MagSafe 3 T-tip connector.

Output voltage and connector type decide fit

The adapter provides a fixed 14.85V DC output via a MagSafe 2 magnetic tip. If your MacBook Air demands a different voltage or uses the older L-tip or newer T-tip interface, this unit will not connect or charge correctly.
