The Dell PowerEdge R650xs is a 1U rackmount server equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 6330 processors running at 2.0 GHz, each providing 28 cores. It ships with 512 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory installed across 16 DIMM slots. The system targets virtualization, cloud infrastructure and high-density data analytics where rack space is at a premium.

PERC H745 RAID controller with 4 GB NV cache

The storage subsystem centres on a Dell PERC H745 front RAID controller backed by 4 GB of non-volatile cache and a battery. It supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, allowing administrators to choose the redundancy or performance profile that matches the workload. Eight 600 GB 10K SAS drives at 12 Gb/s are pre-installed in the 2.5-inch bays.

iDRAC9 Enterprise and quad-port 1 GbE OCP card

Remote management is handled by iDRAC 9 Enterprise, providing full out-of-band control, monitoring and lifecycle automation.
