Built for memory-heavy virtualisation

This 2U rack server ships with 768 GB DDR4 across 24 slots and dual Xeon E5-2620 v3 processors at 2.4 GHz. It targets midsize and large enterprises running databases, VDI or HPC data nodes that need large memory capacity and redundant power.

Suits dense 2.5" storage, not single-thread speed

The 24-bay chassis and PERC H730 controller support SAS and SATA drives with RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60, while the quad-port network card adds 2x 10 GbE SFP+ and 2x 1 GbE. Buyers who need higher single-core frequency or fewer cores should look elsewhere.

768 GB DDR4 decides fit

The installed 24 x 32 GB registered ECC modules fill every slot, leaving no room for expansion without removing memory. Max capacity is 1.5 TB, so workloads that will exceed 768 GB must plan a full memory replacement.
