Questions about this item

Does the RN442 power supply ship with cables or a mounting bracket, or must they be ordered separately?

The RN442 ships as the DPS-764AB A module only; power cables and any rack-mount brackets are not included and must be sourced separately.

The listing shows model numbers RN442, 0RN442 and DPS-764AB A — which one should I match to my server?

All three identifiers refer to the same 717W unit; match the DPS-764AB A label on your existing supply or your server's parts list to confirm compatibility.

What does the 717W rating mean for actual server operation?

The 717W rating is the maximum continuous output the supply can deliver at 80 Plus Gold efficiency, so your server's total component draw should stay below that figure.
