The Dell PowerEdge T430 is a 5U rack server fitted with two Intel Xeon E5-2690 v4 processors running at 2.6 GHz with 3.5 GHz turbo. Fourteen cores per chip deliver 28 threads for virtualization hosts, database nodes or application farms. The system ships with 128 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across eight modules.

H730P controller and 16-bay chassis

A Dell PERC H730P 2 GB SAS/SATA RAID controller manages up to sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap bays, though only eight drive trays are included. The controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode. Dual embedded Gigabit Ethernet ports and iDRAC 8 Express provide out-of-band management and network connectivity without extra cards.

Dual 750 W platinum redundant power

Two hot-swap 750 W platinum-efficiency power supplies share the load and maintain uptime if one unit fails. The 5U form factor allows generous airflow through the chassis, keeping the dual 14-core processors and memory modules within thermal limits under sustained workloads. Fan speed ramps with inlet temperature to balance cooling and acoustic output.
