Precision 3560 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 3560 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation running Windows 11 Pro. It uses an Intel Core i5 11th Gen processor with a minimum speed of 2.40GHz, 16GB of installed memory and a 256GB solid-state drive. Integrated Intel Iris graphics drive the 1366 x 768 display.

Suited for office workflows.

This configuration suits professionals who need a managed Windows 11 Pro environment, dual memory slots for future expansion and a 15.6-inch chassis for standard productivity applications. Buyers who need a higher pixel density for detailed design, colour-critical editing or multi-window clarity at native resolution should look at panels with greater vertical and horizontal pixel counts.

1366 x 768 display resolution

The single specification that determines suitability is the 1366 x 768 panel resolution. It fixes the amount of on-screen information and the sharpness of text and images for every workload this laptop handles.

Questions about this item

Can the 16GB memory be upgraded later using the two slots?

The laptop has two memory slots with 16GB installed; you can add or replace modules up to the platform limit.

What stops the Core i5 11th Gen from holding its 2.40GHz speed during long workloads?

Sustained speed is limited by the cooling solution and power budget; the processor will throttle when thermal or power limits are reached.

How loud and hot does the 15.6 inch chassis get when running all day?

Fan noise and surface temperature rise under continuous load; the integrated Intel Iris Graphics shares system memory and adds to the thermal load.
