Precision 3560 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 3560 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation running Windows 10 Pro on an Intel Core i5-1145G7 quad-core processor. It has 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. The non-touch FHD display resolves at 1920 x 1080 using integrated graphics. Grey chassis.

Upgrade from older Precision

This model replaces earlier Precision 15 inch units or dual-core ultraportables when the workload needs four cores and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. The jump is worth it for CAD, GIS or video timeline work that stalls on two threads. Buyers who need discrete GPU acceleration or more than 8GB RAM should look elsewhere.

Standard business laptop installation

No internal assembly is required; the unit arrives ready to deploy with Windows 10 Pro licensed. Typical issues include the single 256GB drive filling quickly and the 8GB soldered memory limiting multitasking. Two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports handle power-in and docks. MicroSD slot and HDMI 2.0 are present.
