Complete Desktop Package

The Dell Precision 3620 tower arrives with a 24 inch LED monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, and Windows 11 Pro already installed. An Intel Core i5-6500 processor with four cores and 6 MB cache runs at 3.20 GHz base and 3.60 GHz turbo. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 drives the display at up to 4096 × 2304 at 60 Hz. 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD handle everyday office workloads.

Ready-to-Use Peripherals

The bundled monitor, keyboard and mouse eliminate the need to source separate input and display devices. A Wi-Fi adapter provides wireless networking without cabling. Windows 11 Pro (64-bit) is pre-activated with current updates, so the system is productive from first boot. Front panel access includes four USB ports and an audio jack for quick peripheral connections.

Straightforward Setup

Tower form factor allows simple placement on or under a desk with standard power and network cables. Rear I/O supplies DisplayPort, HDMI, RJ-45 Ethernet and additional USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports for legacy and modern devices. Integrated graphics means no discrete card installation or extra power connectors are required. Buyers who need more storage or a second graphics card should verify internal bay and slot availability before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 8 GB DDR4 memory need to be upgraded for heavier workloads later?

The system ships with 8 GB DDR4; the Precision 3620 tower has additional DIMM slots so more DDR4 modules can be added when workloads demand it.

What limits sustained performance first — the 65 W i5-6500 turbo ceiling or the integrated Intel HD Graphics 530?

Under continuous load the i5-6500 hits its 3.60 GHz turbo limit and the 6 MB cache, so the processor thermal ceiling appears before the Intel HD Graphics 530 becomes a bottleneck.

How loud and hot does the tower get when it runs all day with the 24-inch LED monitor attached?

The Precision 3620 tower uses a regulated fan curve; with the i5-6500 at 3.20 GHz base and the 24-inch LED monitor drawing separate power, noise stays at typical office levels and chassis temperatures remain within normal operating range.
