Professional Workstation for Demanding Workloads

The Dell Precision 3650 Mid-Tower is a new business desktop built for CAD design, 3D modelling, engineering applications and financial analysis. It uses an Intel Core i9-10900K processor with 10 cores running at 3.70GHz base and 5.3GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 128GB of DDR4 2933MHz memory across four 32GB modules.

Integrated Graphics and Connectivity

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 provides dual DisplayPort video outputs for multi-monitor setups without a discrete card. Networking relies on an integrated Intel I219-LM Gigabit Ethernet controller rated at 10/100/1000 speeds. Audio is handled by a Realtek ALC3246 High Definition Audio codec. Windows 11 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed with digital activation.

460W 80PLUS Gold Power Supply Unit

A Dell 460W power supply with 80PLUS Gold certification delivers power to the configured components. The unit is sized for the installed 10-core processor, 128GB memory kit and 1TB NVMe SSD. Buyers planning to add a high-wattage discrete graphics card or additional storage drives must verify that this power supply meets the expanded load requirements.

Questions about this item

How often will the 460 W 80PLUS Gold power supply need replacement under daily workloads?

A quality Gold-rated PSU typically lasts many years; replace only if voltages drift or fan noise increases.

Which component hits its limit first when the i9-10900K runs at 5.3 GHz Turbo for extended periods?

The 460 W PSU and integrated UHD 630 graphics share the thermal budget, so sustained all-core Turbo is constrained by power delivery and cooling capacity.

What noise and heat levels should I expect from the 460 W Gold PSU and integrated graphics during all-day operation?

The Gold PSU fan stays quiet at typical loads; integrated UHD 630 adds minimal heat, so overall acoustics remain office-friendly.
