Precision 3650 Mid-Tower Workstation

The Dell Precision 3650 is a mid-tower desktop built for professional workloads. It combines an 8-core Intel Core i7-11700K processor with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD. An NVIDIA Quadro P2200 graphics card with 5GB GDDR5 drives up to four DisplayPort 1.4 monitors. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and ready for business use.

Suits CAD and modelling professionals

This workstation targets engineers, designers and analysts who need certified stability for CAD, 3D modelling and financial applications. The 460W 80PLUS Gold power supply supports the installed components reliably. Buyers who need ECC memory for data integrity should note this unit ships with standard unbuffered DDR4. Users requiring multiple high-power GPUs or greater internal drive bays will need a larger chassis platform.

Quadro P2200 5GB 160-bit graphics

The installed NVIDIA Quadro P2200 provides 5GB of GDDR5 memory across a 160-bit bus with four DisplayPort 1.4 outputs. This configuration handles professional 3D viewports, multi-monitor setups and GPU-accelerated applications within its memory and power envelope. Workloads demanding larger frame buffers, higher memory bandwidth or compute features not present in this card will require a different graphics solution.

Questions about this item

Does the Intel Core i7-11700K in this Precision 3650 require a separate CPU cooler or is one included?

The workstation ships as a complete system with a 460 W 80PLUS Gold power supply and factory cooling, so no additional cooler purchase is needed.

Can the Quadro P2200 drive older monitors that only have DVI or HDMI inputs?

The card provides four DisplayPort 1.4 outputs; DVI or HDMI displays will need active DisplayPort adapters.

How can I confirm the 32 GB of DDR4 3200 memory is running at its rated speed after first boot?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, click Memory and verify the Speed field reads 3200 MHz.
