Mobile workstation for creators

The Dell Precision 5530 pairs an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8850H six-core processor with an NVIDIA Quadro P1000 graphics card holding 4GB GDDR5 memory. A 15.6-inch UHD touch panel at 3840 x 2160 resolution covers 72% color gamut for accurate visual work. 16GB DDR4 RAM and dual storage comprising a 256GB M.2 drive plus a 2TB SSD provide capacity for large project files. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Ports and power to verify

Check that your peripherals match the available connections: two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one Thunderbolt 3 port and an HDMI 2.0 output. The headset jack combines headphone and microphone signals in a single socket. Ensure the included AC adapter matches your local mains voltage before first use.

Dual-drive layout and professional GPU

The factory-fitted 256GB M.2 device and 2TB SSD appear as separate volumes, letting you separate the operating system from active project data without extra hardware. The Quadro P1000 drivers are tuned for ISV-certified applications, so rendering and viewport tasks run on validated software stacks rather than generic gaming profiles.
