Mobile workstation with UHD touch

The DELL Precision 5530 is a 15.6-inch mobile workstation built around an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8850H six-core processor. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The display is a UHD 3840 x 2160 IPS panel with multi-touch support and 72% color gamut coverage. A dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P1000 with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory handles professional graphics workloads. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed.

Connectivity and expansion for professional

Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI 2.0 ports enable dual external displays and high-speed peripherals, while two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports cover legacy devices. The Thunderbolt 3 connection carries x4 PCIe bandwidth for external GPU enclosures or fast storage arrays. A combined headphone and microphone jack handles audio. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity. The included AC adapter powers the system and charges the battery.

Memory and storage headroom for demanding

The 16 GB of DDR4 memory supports multitasking across CAD, simulation and content-creation tools, and the platform can accept up to 32 GB for larger datasets. The 512 GB NVMe SSD delivers fast boot and load times, with M.2 slots available for additional SATA or NVMe drives up to 1 TB. The Quadro P1000 and its 4 GB of GDDR5 memory accelerate certified professional applications, though heavier rendering or simulation tasks may exceed the GPU memory buffer.
