Mobile workstation with dual SSD storage

The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built around an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8850H six-core processor. It ships with 16 GB DDR4 memory and two M.2 drives: a 256 GB unit plus a 1 TB NVMe SSD. The 1920 x 1080 IPS panel covers 72 % colour gamut and is non-touch. Windows 11 Pro is installed.

Suited for CAD and ISV-certified apps.

Engineers and designers who need certified drivers for SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar ISV applications will benefit from the Quadro P1000 with 4 GB GDDR5. The Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI 2.0 ports support external displays and fast peripherals. Buyers who want higher graphics memory for large assemblies or GPU compute should look at a workstation with a more powerful professional GPU.

Quadro P1000 with 4 GB GDDR5 decides fit

The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P1000 provides 4 GB GDDR5 video memory and ISV certification for professional 3D software. If your workflow depends on that certification and 4 GB VRAM is sufficient, this unit matches the requirement. If you need more VRAM or a newer GPU architecture for heavy rendering, this graphics card will not meet the need.
