Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB DDR4 memory be upgraded later?

The system ships with 32 GB DDR4 installed; the manufacturer notes DDR4 technology provides improved performance up to 32 GB, indicating this is the maximum supported capacity.

What thermal limit appears first during extended heavy workloads on the i7-8850H and Quadro P1000?

The cooling design uses dual fans to improve airflow and keep the system cool under load; sustained turbo frequencies up to 4.30 GHz will be limited by the thermal envelope of the 15.6" chassis.

How loud do the dual fans get and what power draw should I expect when the laptop runs all day?

Dual fans are designed for improved airflow during continuous operation; the included Dell AC adapter supplies power for the 6-core CPU, Quadro P1000 4 GB GDDR5, UHD touch display and dual 1 TB M.2 plus 4 TB SSD storage.
