Precision 5560 Xeon workstation

The Dell Precision 5560 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built around an Intel Xeon processor and NVIDIA RTX A2000 graphics. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 16 GB of memory and a 128 GB solid-state drive. The UHD panel delivers a 3840 x 2400 resolution for detailed visual work.

3840 x 2400 UHD display

The screen resolution of 3840 by 2400 pixels is the single specification that determines whether this panel meets a workflow's clarity needs. It provides a high pixel density on the 15.6 inch diagonal for accurate colour-critical tasks. No touch input is supported on this display.

Suits creators needing 4K accuracy.

This configuration suits professionals who require a factory-calibrated 4K screen and certified drivers for creative applications. Buyers who need more than 128 GB of internal storage for large project files should look at models with larger drives. The 16 GB memory ceiling may also limit heavy multi-application workloads.

Questions about this item

What does the 3840 x 2400 UHD resolution look like on a 15.6-inch panel?

The 15.6-inch UHD screen packs 3840 x 2400 pixels, giving very sharp text and fine detail for CAD or photo work, though UI scaling will be needed for comfortable reading at native size.

How does the RTX A2000 GPU connect to the system and what bandwidth ceiling does that impose?

The RTX A2000 is a dedicated GPU soldered to the motherboard, so its performance is limited by the internal PCIe lanes allocated to the Xeon processor rather than an upgradeable slot.

What physical space and connector does the 128 GB SSD require for replacement or upgrade?

The 128 GB drive uses an M.2 form factor; the laptop provides one M.2 slot for storage, so any replacement must be an M.2 module of the same keying and length.
