Genuine Dell Precision 950 W PSU

This 950 watt power supply carries the 80 Gold Plus efficiency rating and is built for Dell Precision 5820 and 7820 workstations. It replaces part numbers WGCH4 and 0WGCH4 and ships in new condition. The unit delivers the factory-specified power envelope for those tower platforms.

Steady output under continuous load

The 80 Gold Plus certification means the supply maintains high efficiency across a wide load range, reducing waste heat during long rendering or simulation sessions. Its 950 W capacity supports fully populated CPU and GPU configurations without throttling. Builders needing redundant or higher-wattage units should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much heat and fan noise should I expect when this 950 W unit runs continuously at high load?

The 80 Gold Plus rating indicates high efficiency, so waste heat and fan speed remain moderate even during sustained heavy workloads.

Besides a Precision 5820 or 7820 chassis, what other parts must I already have to install this WGCH4 power supply?

You need the correct motherboard power connectors and the proprietary chassis mounting points found in the Precision 5820 and 7820 workstations.
