Refurbished Dell Precision 7510 mobile workstation

This refurbished Dell Precision 7510 mobile workstation pairs an Intel Core i7-6820HQ processor at 2.7 GHz with 16 GB of DDR4 memory, a 512 GB SSD and a 1 TB hard drive. The 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 non-touch display and NVIDIA Quadro 1000M graphics with 2.0 GB dedicated video memory handle everyday productivity and entry-level CAD work. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Suited for office professionals

The quad-core CPU, 16 GB RAM and dual-drive layout give enough speed for documents, web browsing and light 2D drafting. Buyers who need a dedicated workstation GPU with more video memory, a touchscreen, or a lighter chassis should look elsewhere. The optional USB-C port may not be present on every unit.

Key specification: NVIDIA Quadro 1000M

The integrated Quadro 1000M delivers 2.0 GB of dedicated video memory and certified drivers for entry-level professional 3D applications. If your workflow requires more graphics memory or newer API support, this GPU will limit performance. Verify that your software runs on this card before purchase.

Questions about this item

What screw pattern and panel thickness does the 15.6 inch chassis use for drive bay access?

The bottom cover is secured with standard Dell M2.5 screws; removing it exposes the 2.5 inch bay holding the 1TB drive and the M.2 slot occupied by the 512GB SSD.

Which cable must be disconnected first when swapping the NVIDIA Quadro 1000M daughter board?

Disconnect the battery cable before lifting the MXM module; the screw retention bracket is often missed and causes the card to seat unevenly.

When should the 720p webcam module be replaced?

Replace the camera module if the image stays dark after driver reinstallation or if the array microphone stops registering input in Windows 10 Pro.
