Questions about this item

What size M.2 drive does the T460 accept for storage upgrades?

The laptop uses a 240GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD; the slot accepts standard M.2 2280 drives for capacity increases.

Which screw must be removed before lifting the bottom cover to reach the memory slots?

Loosen the single captive screw on the base panel, then slide the cover off — forcing it before the screw is free cracks the plastic clips.

How much additional DDR3 memory can be added to the second slot?

The system ships with 16GB DDR3 across two slots and supports up to 32GB total, so the second slot can take another 16GB module.
