Mobile workstation with RTX A3000

The Dell Precision 7670 is a 16.0 inch mobile workstation built for engineers and creators who need certified graphics. It pairs a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12850HX with an NVIDIA RTX A3000 12GB GDDR6 GPU. The system includes 64GB of DDR5 memory and a 2x2TB PCIe NVMe RAID 1 array that presents 2TB of usable capacity. Windows 10 Pro is installed.

Gray chassis with Thunderbolt 4 and SD reader

The gray aluminium body weighs 5.75lb and holds a 92 WHr battery fed by a 240W power supply. A 16.0 inch WVA panel shows 1920x1200 at 60Hz in a 16:10 ratio. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one HDMI 2.1 output and a USB 3.2 Type-C connector handle docks and displays. An SD card reader and smart card reader sit alongside a headset jack and RJ-45 Ethernet. The backlit keyboard and 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3 complete the daily toolkit.

RAID 1 mirrors data but halves raw capacity

The RAID 1 mirror protects against a single drive failure yet only 2TB of the 4TB physical storage is addressable. The RTX A3000 12GB is a professional GPU tuned for ISV applications rather than gaming workloads. Thunderbolt 4 caps external PCIe bandwidth at 40 Gbps, limiting high-end eGPU scaling. Onboard DDR5 cannot be upgraded after purchase.
