Precision 7720 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 7720 is a 17.3 inch mobile workstation built around an Intel Core i7-7820HQ processor running at 2.90 GHz. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SSD, running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit out of the box. The system targets professionals who need ISV-certified graphics and a large colour-accurate display in a portable chassis.

NVIDIA Quadro P3000 with 6 GB GDDR5

The dedicated NVIDIA Quadro P3000 graphics card provides 6 GB of GDDR5 video memory, a specification that determines suitability for CAD, DCC and visualization workloads. The 17.3 inch UltraSharp FHD IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1080 resolution with anti-glare coating and wide viewing angles. Buyers who need more GPU memory or a higher resolution display should consider other configurations.

Thunderbolt 3 and multi-drive storage

A single Thunderbolt 3 port enables high-speed peripheral connection and external display support up to 4K. The package includes a 512 GB SSD as the primary drive; the supplier notes an additional 1 TB SATA hard drive is also fitted, giving combined fast boot and bulk storage without extra caddies. The 90 W power adapter is included, while no optical drive or printed manual are supplied.
