Mobile workstation for ISV-certified workloads

The DELL Precision 7720 is a 17-inch mobile workstation built around an Intel XEON E3-1505M processor with 16GB of memory and a 256GB solid-state drive. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. The unit is graded B cosmetically, showing scratches and scuffs from normal use, and includes the charger.

Verify charger, memory slots

Confirm the included power adapter matches your regional plug standard and delivers sufficient wattage for the XEON CPU under load. Check how many memory slots are populated so you know whether the 16GB can be expanded without removing modules. Ensure the storage bay or M.2 slot supports the form factor you intend to use if you plan to add a second drive.

Replaces older mobile workstations lacking ECC

This model steps up from earlier Precision or generic business laptops that cannot run error-correcting memory, a requirement for many certified engineering and scientific applications. The jump is worth it when your workflow demands ISV certification, ECC RAM and a 17-inch 1920 x 1080 canvas in a chassis tested for professional thermal loads.
