Mobile workstation for CAD and rendering

The Dell Precision 7750 combines a six-core Intel Core i7-10850H processor with 64 GB of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVMe solid-state drive. An NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 graphics card with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory drives the 17.3-inch FHD display at 1920 x 1080 resolution. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on this Grade B unit.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 45 W processor maintains performance during extended 3D rendering, design calculations and data-analysis tasks without the throttling seen in shorter bursts. Thunderbolt 3 ports and Mini DisplayPort 1.4 allow multiple external monitors to be driven simultaneously while the Quadro GPU continues to process compute-heavy workloads.

Deciding specification

The 16 GB Quadro RTX 5000 GPU determines whether this workstation suits certified CAD, simulation and visualisation applications that require dedicated video memory. Buyers who need more graphics memory or a newer GPU architecture should consider other options.
