Dell Precision 7760 workstation laptop

The Dell Precision 7760 is a 17.3-inch mobile workstation built for professionals who need reliable performance. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core i7-11850H processor with 64 GB of DDR4 memory and a 2 TB NVMe SSD. The NVIDIA RTX A3000 GPU with 6 GB of GDDR6 handles demanding visual workloads.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This laptop suits engineers, designers and analysts who require ISV-certified stability, a large Full HD screen and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity for docks or external GPUs. Buyers who want a touchscreen, a higher refresh rate panel, a lighter chassis for frequent travel or a newer processor generation should look at other models.

Deciding specification: NVIDIA RTX A3000 6 GB GDDR6

The NVIDIA RTX A3000 with 6 GB of GDDR6 memory is the specification that determines suitability. It provides certified drivers for professional 3D, simulation and video applications where consumer GeForce cards lack validation. If your workflow relies on that certification, this configuration fits; if you only need office productivity or casual gaming, the discrete GPU adds cost you may not need.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Intel Core i7-11850H is running at its 4.80 GHz turbo frequency after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose CPU and watch the live clock speed while a heavy workload runs; it should reach 4.80 GHz when thermal headroom allows.

The listing mentions a Grade B LCD and cosmetic blemishes — what exactly ships in the box and what must I source myself?

The box contains the Precision 7760 laptop and a Dell AC adapter matched to the original wattage; no webcam, no optical drive and no external cables are included, so add any docks or peripherals you need.

With 64 GB DDR4 and a 2 TB NVMe SSD already installed, which configuration should I choose for heavier GPU compute workloads?

The single listed build already pairs the RTX A3000 6 GB GDDR6 with maximum memory and storage, so no further capacity upgrade is required for heavier GPU compute tasks.
