Precision 7760 mobile workstation

The Dell Precision 7760 is a 17.3 inch mobile workstation built for engineers and creators who need certified graphics and a large screen. It runs an 8 core Intel Core i7 11850H processor with a 4.8 GHz turbo frequency and 64 GB of memory. The Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 GPU provides 8 GB GDDR6 video memory for professional 3D and simulation workloads. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.

Build integration with Thunderbolt 4 and mini DP

Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C Thunderbolt 4.0 ports drive external GPUs, high speed storage arrays or dual 4K displays without a dock. Mini DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 add native monitor connections for a multi screen desk setup. The 500 GB hard drive stores project files locally while the SD card slot ingests camera media directly. RJ45 and 802.11ac wireless give flexible network access.

Upgrade from smaller screen or integrated graphics

Users moving from a 15 inch chassis or integrated graphics gain the 17.3 inch 1920 x 1080 non touch canvas and dedicated Quadro RTX performance for viewport fluidity. The 64 GB memory headroom removes the need for immediate RAM upgrades on large assemblies. Buyers who need solid state boot speed or a second GPU enclosure should note the single mechanical drive and plan accordingly.

Questions about this item

Does the 500GB HDD become the bottleneck once the i7-11850H runs at 4.8 GHz turbo?

The 500 GB hard drive is the slowest storage component, so sustained workloads will hit its transfer limit before the 8-core processor reaches full turbo.

How hot or loud does the Quadro RTX 4000 with 8GB GDDR6 get during all-day rendering?

The 17.3-inch chassis uses dual fans and vapour-chamber cooling to manage the GPU and 4.8 GHz CPU, keeping surface temperatures and fan noise at workstation-typical levels under continuous load.

Which Thunderbolt 4 cable or dock is required to drive two external 4K monitors?

Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C Thunderbolt 4.0 ports are built in; any certified Thunderbolt 4 cable or dock will carry dual 4K 60 Hz signals from the Quadro RTX 4000.
