Genuine Dell OEM touchscreen assembly

This is a genuine Dell OEM replacement screen assembly for the Dell XPS 15 9530 and Precision M3800 laptops. It arrives as a complete unit with the 15.6 inch QHD+ touchscreen panel, hinges, webcam, video and wireless cables, and the outer casing. The assembly upgrades the display from FHD 1920x1080 to QHD+ 3200x1800 resolution. Buyers receive exactly the part shown in the product imagery.

Straightforward swap with cable routing care

Installation involves removing the existing display assembly and fitting this complete unit, which includes all necessary hinges, cables, and the outer shell. The integrated video cable (YG20X) and wireless antenna cables must be routed correctly through the hinge area to avoid pinching or signal loss. No separate digitizer bonding is required because the touchscreen is already fused to the panel. Builders should verify the connector type matches the motherboard before starting.

Ideal for XPS 9530 and M3800 owners needing QHD+

This assembly suits owners of the Dell XPS 15 9530 Ultrabook or Precision M3800 who want a factory-quality upgrade to 3200x1800 resolution with touch input. It is not for users whose laptops use a different screen size, connector, or mounting pattern. Buyers needing a non-touch panel, a lower FHD resolution, or a bare LCD without hinges and casing should look at a different part.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 3200 x 1800 QHD+ panel is working correctly after fitting it?

Power on the laptop and check that the Windows desktop renders at the native 3200 x 1800 resolution without scaling artefacts, then run a multi-touch gesture across the full 15.6" surface to verify the digitiser registers every contact point.

Which components are included in the assembly and which must be sourced separately?

The assembly ships with the 15.6" QHD+ LCD, touchscreen digitiser, webcam, left and right hinges, video cable YG20X, wireless antenna cables, back cover, front edge-to-edge glass and middle hinge cover; no additional parts are required for the upgrade.

Should I choose this QHD+ 3200 x 1800 assembly or stay with the original FHD 1920 x 1080 panel?

Select this assembly when you need the higher 3200 x 1800 pixel density for colour-critical work or sharper text; retain the original FHD panel only if battery life or GPU load are higher priorities than resolution.
