Genuine Dell Precision M4500 Bottom Access Panel

This genuine Dell OEM bottom access panel is designed specifically for the Precision M4500 mobile workstation. It replaces a missing or damaged cover to restore the chassis integrity and protect internal components. Buyers who need a different chassis part or a panel for another laptop model will not be served by this specific component.

Replaces lost or broken factory bottom door cover

The panel restores the original factory fit for the M4500, securing drive bays and memory slots against dust and accidental contact. The upgrade is worthwhile when the existing cover is cracked, lost during service, or when a complete chassis restoration is required. Builders who need a different form factor or additional expansion bays cannot use this part.

Questions about this item

Does the 736M2 bottom door cover align with the Precision M4500 chassis screw holes?

Yes, this genuine Dell OEM panel is made for the Precision M4500 and matches the factory mounting points on the laptop base.

What is the correct way to seat the access panel so the security lock slot lines up?

Slide the cover front edge in first, then press the rear down until the retention clips click; forcing the back first bends the tabs and misaligns the Kensington slot.
