  • Part number 78PJ3 verifies compatibility before purchase
  • New OEM plastic trim restores original laptop appearance

Genuine Dell Precision M4600 15.6" LCD bezel

This genuine Dell original front cover bezel fits the Precision M4600 laptop. It includes the plastic trim with a window for the integrated web camera. The part number is 78PJ3 and buyers should match this number before ordering. The web camera unit itself is not included.

Plastic trim with camera window simplifies

The bezel arrives as a single plastic piece that already has the camera aperture cut out. This means the screen surround can be swapped without sourcing a separate trim ring. No adhesive strips, screws or cables are bundled with the part.

Snap-on design limits repair to compatible chassis

The bezel attaches using clips moulded for the Precision M4600 lid, so it cannot be secured on other 15.6" Dell models. Plastic tabs can fatigue after repeated removal, making the part best suited for a single replacement rather than frequent swaps. Colour match is fixed to the original chassis finish.

Questions about this item

Will the 78PJ3 bezel need replacement if the web-camera window cracks?

The bezel includes the camera window moulded into the plastic, so any damage to that window means replacing the whole 78PJ3 front cover.

What stops the 78PJ3 from fitting other Dell models?

The 78PJ3 is shaped for the Precision M4600 15.6" chassis and its specific hinge mounts; other models use different bezels.

Does the 78PJ3 bezel affect heat or fan noise during all-day use?

The bezel is a passive plastic cover with no vents or electronics, so it adds no heat or noise to the Precision M4600.
