Dell Precision M4700 15.6" LCD Back Cover Assembly

This genuine Dell replacement part restores the display lid on a Precision M4700 mobile workstation. It arrives as a complete top cover assembly including the left and right hinges, hinge covers, LCD ribbon cable, and wireless antenna cables. The unit is supplied new and ready for installation by a qualified technician.

For Precision M4700 owners

This assembly fits only the Dell Precision M4700; it will not align with other 15.6 inch Dell models or other Precision series laptops. Buyers repairing a different chassis or seeking a bare cover without hinges and cables should look elsewhere.

Dell part number A12124 confirms exact compatibility

Matching this number to the service tag or the sticker on the original cover is the single check that guarantees the part will fit. No other specification determines suitability for this repair.

Questions about this item

Will this A12124 LCD back cover fit the hinges and antenna cables already in my Precision M4700?

Yes, the assembly includes left and right hinges, hinge covers, the LCD ribbon cable V4PMW and wireless antenna cables matched to the Precision M4700.

How can I confirm the replacement lid is seated correctly once installed?

The display should open and close smoothly on both hinges, the hinge covers should sit flush, and Wi-Fi signal strength should return to normal once the antenna cables are reconnected.

Does the A12124 package contain the LCD panel itself or only the plastic top lid with hinges and cables?

The package supplies the plastic back cover, both hinges, hinge covers, the LCD ribbon cable V4PMW and wireless antenna cables — the LCD panel is not included.
