Genuine Dell OEM bottom access panel for Precision

This genuine Dell OEM part replaces the bottom access door on the Precision M6800 mobile workstation. It restores the original chassis opening used for memory, storage or wireless-card upgrades. The panel matches factory fit and finish exactly. ||

Protection and upgrade access for M6800 owners

The cover secures internal components while allowing tool-less removal when service is required. It handles normal handling and transport stresses but is not designed for heavy impact or liquid exposure. Buyers needing a complete chassis replacement or additional mounting brackets will not find those parts here.

Questions about this item

Will this VXGH9 panel fit the original chassis of my Precision 6800?

Yes — the VXGH9 is the genuine Dell OEM bottom access door made for the Precision 6800, so it aligns with the existing screw holes and latch points on that chassis.

How can I confirm the VXGH9 cover is seated correctly after installation?

Press the door until the retention clips click, then verify the panel sits flush with the base and the security-lock slot lines up without gaps.
