Precision T5820 Workstation

The Dell Precision T5820 is a mid-tower workstation built around an Intel Xeon W-2225 processor running at 4.1 GHz with a 4.6 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 128 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across four slots and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. An NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 graphics card with 8 GB GDDR6 memory provides certified drivers for professional visualisation workloads.

Suited for certified ISV applications

This system targets engineers, designers and analysts who rely on ISV-certified drivers for CAD, CAE or media-creation software. The registered ECC memory and Xeon platform deliver the data integrity those workflows require. Buyers who need more than four CPU cores, higher single-thread frequencies or multiple GPU configurations should evaluate alternative platforms.

Sustained-load behaviour

A 950 W 80 Plus Gold power supply rated at 90 % efficiency feeds the CPU, GPU and memory subsystem during extended compute or rendering sessions. The tower chassis and workstation-class thermal design are engineered to maintain stable clocks without throttling when all cores and the Quadro RTX 4000 run at full load for prolonged periods.
