Precision workstation for professional workloads

The Dell Precision T5820 Tower is built for engineers and designers who need certified stability with Xeon processing. It combines a 3.6 GHz W-2123 four-core CPU, 64 GB of registered ECC DDR4 2666 memory, and a Quadro P5000 with 16 GB GDDR5X for multi-display 3D and compute tasks.

950 W Gold supply runs cool and quiet

A Dell 950 W 80 Plus Gold unit rated at 90 % efficiency delivers clean power to the CPU, GPU and eight memory slots. Typical office and rendering loads stay well within the supply’s high-efficiency band, so fan speed remains low and case temperatures stay controlled.

Windows 11 Pro and Quadro drivers ready

The system ships with Microsoft Windows 11 Professional 64-bit digitally activated and Nvidia Quadro enterprise drivers pre-installed. ISV-certified applications launch without extra setup, and the four DisplayPort outputs drive multiple colour-critical monitors directly from the graphics card.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Xeon W-2123 into the LGA 2066 socket without bending pins?

Align the triangle on the processor with the socket marker, lower it straight down without force, then close the retention lever until it clicks.

What maintenance will the 950W 80 Plus Gold power supply need over time?

Clean dust from the intake vents every few months so the fan spins freely and efficiency stays near 90%.

At what point does the Quadro P5000 16GB GDDR5X memory become the bottleneck in sustained renders?

When scene assets exceed 16GB the driver must swap to system RAM, causing a sharp frame-time spike.
