Precision T5820 Workstation for Professional

The Dell Precision T5820 is a tower workstation built around a 3.70 GHz Intel Xeon W-2135 six-core processor. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory installed across eight available slots. No storage drives, graphics card, or operating system are included, allowing full customisation for design, rendering, engineering, and data-heavy applications.

Suits Custom Builds; Not for Plug-and-Play

This system suits professionals who want to specify their own storage capacity, drive type, and GPU for CAD, content creation, or multi-display setups. Buyers needing a ready-to-run machine with pre-installed drives, graphics, or an OS should look elsewhere, as every one of those components must be sourced and installed separately.

Tower Chassis Accepts User-Supplied Parts

The tower form factor provides physical space and memory slots for adding storage drives, a graphics card, and up to 32 GB of total DDR4 memory. With no drives or GPU fitted, the chassis and power delivery are free for the components you choose, while the Xeon W-2135 and installed memory handle compute-intensive tasks immediately.

Can I keep my existing DDR4 modules and add them to the eight slots?

Yes, the system uses DDR4 memory across eight slots and currently has 32 GB installed, leaving room for additional modules.

How can I verify the Xeon W-2135 is running at 3.70 GHz after assembly?

Enter the BIOS or use a hardware-monitoring utility in your chosen OS to confirm the CPU reports a 3.70 GHz clock speed.
