Dual Xeon Gold 6148 workstation

The Dell Precision T7820 is a tower workstation fitted with two Intel Xeon Gold 6148 processors, each delivering 20 cores at 2.40 GHz for a total of 40 cores. It is aimed at engineers, designers and data analysts who run multi-threaded CAD, rendering or simulation workloads that benefit from high core counts and ECC memory.

Verify memory slots and GPU power needs

The system board provides 12 DDR4 slots populated with 32 GB of ECC registered memory, so confirm your expansion plan matches the registered DIMM requirement. The installed Quadro M2000 draws power from the chassis supply; check that the existing power cables and available wattage suit any GPU upgrade you may consider.

Windows 11 Pro and Quadro driver ready

Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, removing the need for a separate OS licence and initial configuration time. The Quadro M2000 includes certified drivers for professional visual applications, so CAD and content-creation software can be used immediately without additional driver hunting.
