Dell Precision T7910 Workstation

This Dell Precision T7910 tower workstation comes new with Windows 10 Pro. It runs a single Intel Xeon E5-2637 v3 processor at 3.5GHz with four cores and 32GB of DDR4 memory. Professional graphics are provided by an NVIDIA Quadro M5000 card. Storage combines a 512GB SSD with a 1TB hard drive.

Professionals needing certified CAD graphics

The Quadro M5000 suits engineers, designers and creators who rely on ISV-certified drivers for stable viewport performance and multi-display output. The four-core Xeon favours high single-thread speed over core count, so it suits lighter simulation or modelling workloads rather than heavy multi-threaded rendering. Buyers who need more than 32GB of memory or a second CPU should look elsewhere.

Single Xeon E5-2637 v3 installed

One Intel Xeon E5-2637 v3 is fitted in the LGA2011-3 socket. The motherboard supports a second identical processor up to a maximum of two, but only one is installed. This single-CPU configuration limits total memory bandwidth and core count compared with a dual-processor build.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Xeon E5-2637 v3 runs at 3.50GHz after setup?

Open Task Manager or BIOS to confirm the processor shows 3.50GHz base clock across all four cores under load.

What comes in the box and what must I add to start working?

The tower includes the Xeon processor, 32GB DDR4, Quadro M5000, 512GB SSD, 1TB HDD and Windows 10 Pro; you only need a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Should I choose the 512GB SSD plus 1TB HDD combination or a different capacity?

This unit ships with that exact pairing — 512GB SSD for fast boot and apps, 1TB HDD for project storage — no other capacity option is offered.
