Dell Pro 16 PC16250 overview

The Dell Pro 16 PC16250 is a 16.0 inch laptop powered by an Intel Core 7 150U processor with 16GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. It runs Windows 11 Pro and includes AI Boost features. The IPS display delivers a 1920 x 1200 resolution at 60 Hz in a non-touch format. Integrated Intel Graphics handle visual output while 802.11ax wireless and Bluetooth provide connectivity.

Who should consider this laptop

This device suits professionals who need a portable Windows 11 Pro machine with a 16.0 inch 1920 x 1200 screen for daily productivity and video calls. The 16GB memory and 256GB SSD support typical office workloads and light multitasking. Buyers who require a touchscreen, a discrete graphics card, or a larger storage capacity should evaluate other options. The 60 Hz panel is not aimed at high-refresh gaming or colour-critical creative work.

Deciding specification: 256GB SSD

The 256GB SSD is the key figure that determines whether this configuration fits your workflow. It holds the operating system, core applications and a moderate amount of active project files. Users with large media libraries, extensive local databases or virtual machines will likely need supplementary storage from the outset. If the available capacity matches your typical working set, the laptop is ready to deploy.

Questions about this item

How is the 256 GB SSD installed and what step is often missed?

The 256 GB SSD comes factory-fitted inside the 16.0" chassis; the step users miss is signing into Windows 11 Pro and running the first-update sequence before moving files.

What maintenance or replacement will the 3-cell 8.70-hour battery need later?

The internal 3-cell pack is not user-replaceable; once its run-time drops below your needs, a Dell-authorised service visit is required to swap it.

What limit appears first during sustained loads on the Intel Core 7 150U with Intel Graphics?

The 60 Hz IPS panel and integrated Intel Graphics thermal ceiling will cap frame rates before the 16 GB memory or 256 GB SSD become bottlenecks.
