Dell Pro 16 PC16250 laptop for business users

The Dell Pro 16 PC16250 is a 16 inch laptop built for business professionals who need reliable performance in a portable chassis. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel Core Ultra 5 235U processor with 12 cores and a 4.9 GHz maximum turbo frequency. The system includes 16 GB of DDR5 memory at 5600 MT/s and a 256 GB SSD for fast storage access. An integrated IR camera supports secure facial login through Windows Hello.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

The laptop ships with a 65 W USB-C AC adapter and a 3 cell 55 Wh battery that supports ExpressCharge capability. In typical office workloads the cooling system keeps the chassis comfortable while fan noise remains low enough for open plan environments. The lightweight frame weighs 4.27 lb or 1.94 kg, making it easy to carry between meetings without a bulky power brick.

Behaviour under sustained load

During extended multitasking or data intensive tasks the 12 core processor maintains responsive performance thanks to its vPro architecture and integrated NPU. The DDR5 memory bandwidth helps sustain throughput when multiple applications run simultaneously. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 keep wireless connections stable even when the system is under pressure for long periods.

Questions about this item

How do I install the memory module correctly in the single DDR5 slot?

Power off the laptop, remove the base cover screws, open the chassis, align the 5600 MT/s DDR5 module with the slot key, press down until the retention clips click, then reassemble and verify 16 GB appears in BIOS.

Which component will need replacement first during the laptop's service life?

The 55 Wh 3-cell battery will degrade before the soldered 16 GB DDR5 memory or the 256 GB SSD, so plan a battery swap when runtime drops below your mobility needs.

What thermal limit appears first when the Intel Core Ultra 5 235U runs sustained workloads?

The 12-core processor hits its 4.9 GHz turbo ceiling and the cooling system throttles clocks to maintain safe temperatures, reducing performance before the 65 W USB-C adapter reaches its output limit.
