Dell Pro Micro desktop PC

The Dell Pro Micro is a slim-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i7-14700 processor with 20 cores and a 33MB cache. It ships with 16GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the chassis includes a 65W power supply.

Suited for office deployments needing a compact

This unit fits standard business workloads, dual-monitor setups via DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1, and environments that rely on wired Gigabit Ethernet or Wi-Fi 6E. Buyers who need discrete graphics, more than 64GB of RAM, or additional 2.5-inch drive bays should consider other form factors.

256GB NVMe boot drive with a second M.2 slot free

The primary storage is a 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD installed in one of two M.2 2280/2230 slots, leaving the second slot available for expansion. This capacity and slot layout determine whether the system meets immediate storage needs or requires an extra drive at purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the Dell Pro Micro's DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1 outputs drive the same two monitors I currently use with an older desktop?

Yes, the Intel UHD Graphics 770 supports dual-monitor output over DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1, so your existing displays will work if they accept those interfaces.

How can I confirm the Intel Core i7-14700 is reaching its 5.30 GHz turbo frequency under load?

Open Task Manager's Performance tab or a tool like HWiNFO and watch the core clocks during a heavy workload; they should hit 5.30 GHz on the performance cores when thermal headroom allows.

The box lists a USB keyboard and mouse — do I need to buy a monitor cable or Wi-Fi antenna separately?

No separate antenna is required because the Intel AX211 Wi-Fi 6E card uses an internal antenna; you only need to supply a DisplayPort or HDMI cable for your monitor.
