Compact Business Desktop

The Dell Pro Micro is a new ultra-small-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i7-12700K processor with 12 cores and a 25MB cache. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD, running Windows 11 Pro out of the box.

Suited For And Not For

This system suits offices that need strong multi-threaded performance in a minimal footprint, with dual-monitor support via DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1. Buyers who require a discrete graphics card, additional internal drive bays beyond the two M.2 slots, or a higher-wattage power supply should consider a larger chassis.

Deciding Specification

The 65W power supply limits total system power and rules out most add-in GPUs or high-draw expansion cards, making it the single figure that confirms whether this chassis fits the intended workload.
