Dell Pro Micro i9-12900K business desktop

This Dell Pro Micro desktop combines a 24-core Intel Core i9-12900K processor with 16 GB of DDR5 4800 memory and a 1 TB NVMe PCIe SSD. The ultra-small form factor runs Windows 11 Pro and includes a USB keyboard and mouse for immediate deployment.

Suits offices needing high single-thread speed

The 65 W power supply and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 limit this system to productivity workloads and dual-monitor setups via DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, additional internal drive bays or higher memory capacity than the 64 GB maximum should consider a larger chassis.

Two SO-DIMM slots support up to 64 GB DDR5 4800

Memory expansion uses standard DDR5 SO-DIMM modules only; the two slots are populated with 16 GB from the factory, leaving one slot free for a simple upgrade to 32 GB or 64 GB.

Questions about this item

Does the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port deliver 10 Gbps with any cable?

The front USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port is rated for 10 Gbps, but only cables certified for USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 will reach that speed in practice.

What physical space and power does the Micro chassis allow for M.2 storage?

Two M.2 slots accept 2280 or 2230 NVMe drives; the 65 W power supply and slim internal volume limit upgrades to low-profile, single-sided modules.

Which step do installers skip when adding a second NVMe drive?

After seating the drive in the second M.2 slot, many forget to enable the new slot in the BIOS storage menu before Windows will recognise the volume.
