Compact AI Mini PC

The Dell Pro Micro is a new mini desktop built around a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 8500GE processor with integrated Radeon 740M graphics. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 memory and an 8TB PCIe NVMe SSD, running Windows 11 Pro out of the box. The 90W power supply and wireless peripherals complete a ready-to-deploy business system.

Capacity and headroom

Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 gives wide headroom for heavy multitasking, large datasets and local AI inference workloads. The eight-terabyte NVMe drive holds extensive project libraries and virtual machines without needing external storage. Integrated Radeon 740M graphics handles productivity and light creative tasks but will not satisfy demanding 3D rendering or modern gaming.

Build integration

The 7.25 by 7.75 by 2.5 inch chassis fits behind a monitor or in a tight rack space and includes HDMI 2.1 plus DisplayPort for dual displays. WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and RJ-45 cover wired and wireless networks. A USB 3.2 Type-C port, two USB 2.0 ports and a combo audio jack handle peripherals, while the bundled Dockztorm hub adds extra connectivity. Buyers who need discrete GPU power or internal expansion slots should look at larger form factors.
