DELL Rotating Hand Strap 460-BDSL Latitude 7030 Rugged Extreme

Dell Latitude 7030 Rugged Extreme hand strap

The Dell rotating hand strap attaches to the Latitude 7030 Rugged Extreme tablet using a compact 50x50 VESA mount. It is built for field workers who need to carry the device securely while keeping both hands free for other tasks. The strap rotates through 360 degrees so the screen can be viewed in any orientation without removing the tablet from the mount. Black polymer construction matches the rugged aesthetic of the host device.

Thermals noise and power draw

This accessory has no moving parts, fans or electronic components, so it produces no audible noise and draws zero power from the tablet. The polymer body is rated to withstand extreme temperatures and exposure to chemical solvents without degrading. Because it is entirely passive, it adds no thermal load to the system and requires no configuration or driver support. Normal use simply involves strapping the tablet to the hand and rotating as needed.

Bundled accessories and software impact

The package contains only the rotating hand strap itself; no tools, fasteners or software media are included. A dedicated stylus slot on the rear of the strap holds the tablet pen securely when not in use, reducing the chance of loss in mobile environments. The 50x50 VESA interface means the strap can be fitted or removed quickly without proprietary hardware. No firmware updates or companion applications are required for any function.
