Precision 5820 workstation for professional

The Dell Precision 5820 tower workstation ships new with an Intel Xeon W-2123 processor at 3.6 GHz and 3.9 GHz turbo. It includes 16 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz RDIMM ECC memory, a 512 GB 2.5-inch SATA Class 20 SSD and AMD Radeon Pro WX 3200 graphics with 4 GB memory and four mini DisplayPort outputs.

Suited for ISV-certified applications

This system suits engineers, designers and analysts who need certified drivers for CAD, CAE or media applications and who require ECC memory for data integrity. Buyers who need more than 16 GB of memory out of the box or who need a second graphics card should look at a different configuration.

Single specification that decides fit: Xeon W-2123

The Xeon W-2123 provides four cores with 8.25 MB cache and hyper-threading at a 120 W TDP. If your workload scales beyond four cores or demands higher single-thread frequency, this CPU will limit performance.
