Genuine Dell 15.6" LCD Back Cover Purple Horizon

This genuine Dell original 15.6" LCD back cover lid assembly is manufactured for Dell Studio 1555, 1557, and 1558 laptops. It arrives new with left and right hinges, wireless antenna cables, and the power button with cable pre-installed. The Purple Horizon finish matches the original chassis colour. Part number PT44P confirms correct fitment for the listed models.

Ideal for owners repairing a cracked lid

This assembly suits anyone restoring a Studio 1555, 1557, or 1558 to factory appearance and hinge tension. Buyers needing a different screen size, a different colour option, or a top cover without hinges and cables should look at other parts. The component is model-specific and will not fit other Dell series or third-party notebooks.

Dell part number PT44P validates compatibility

Only the PT44P part number guarantees the correct hinge mounting points, antenna routing, and power-button connector for Studio 1555, 1557, and 1558 systems. Verify this number on the existing lid before ordering to avoid mismatched screw holes or cable lengths. No other part number is referenced for these three models.
