Dell T7820 Dual Xeon Workstation

The Dell Precision T7820 is a tower workstation built for professional workloads such as CAD, content creation, rendering and data analysis. It ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6126 processors running at 2.60 GHz, 64 GB of DDR4 memory, a 512 GB SSD and an NVIDIA M4000 graphics card. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled for immediate deployment.

Suited for engineers and creators needing

This configuration suits engineers, designers and analysts who require ISV-certified graphics and dual-socket CPU performance for multi-threaded applications. The four 3.5-inch drive bays allow local storage expansion. Buyers who need more than 768 GB of system memory or a newer GPU architecture should evaluate alternative platforms.

64 GB DDR4 installed with 768 GB maximum

The workstation arrives with 64 GB of DDR4 memory installed across its DIMM slots and supports a maximum capacity of 768 GB. This ceiling determines whether the system can accommodate your largest datasets and simulation models without future upgrades.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 512GB SSD or add a second drive in one of the 3.5-inch bays?

The 512GB SSD gives fast boot and application launch; the four 3.5-inch bays let you add high-capacity hard drives for project archives without sacrificing the SSD speed.

How does the dual Xeon Gold 6126 at 2.6GHz with 12 cores each perform in a real rendering workload?

Twenty-four cores at 2.6GHz deliver strong multi-threaded throughput for CPU rendering and simulation, while the M4000 GPU accelerates viewport and GPU-accelerated tasks.

What does the DDR4 memory standard mean for future upgrades?

The system uses DDR4 modules and supports up to 768GB, so you can expand from the installed 64GB using compatible DDR4 DIMMs.
