DELL T7820 Tower Workstation 2x Xeon Gold 6126 24-Core 256GB DDR4 1TB SSD M4000 Windows 11 Pro

Dual Xeon Workstation for Professional CAD

The Dell T7820 tower arrives new with two Intel Xeon Gold 6126 processors delivering 24 cores at 2.60GHz. 256GB of DDR4 memory and a 1TB SSD provide capacity for large assemblies and data sets. An NVIDIA M4000 graphics card drives multi-display CAD and rendering workflows. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment.

Sustained Multi-Core Throughput

Dual-socket architecture keeps all 24 cores fed during long render queues or simulation runs without the throttling seen in single-socket designs. 256GB DDR4 reduces paging when models exceed typical workstation memory footprints. The M4000 maintains stable frame rates across extended viewport sessions. ECC memory support protects data integrity through overnight compute jobs.

Verify Rack Space and Power Infrastructure

The 7820 chassis weighs 55 units and occupies four 3.5-inch drive bays, so confirm floor or rack clearance before ordering. Dual processors draw significantly more current than single-socket towers; ensure your PDU and circuit capacity match the load. Memory expansion tops out at 768GB across 24 slots, so plan module population early. No additional GPU power connectors are documented for this configuration.
