Professional CAD workstation for engineers

The Dell Precision T7820 tower is a new workstation built for professional tasks such as CAD, rendering, engineering and data analysis. It ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and ready for immediate use. Dual Xeon Gold 6126 CPUs and 64 GB of DDR4 memory provide the compute foundation for heavy workloads.

Suited for multi-threaded design and simulation

This system suits users who need many cores and large memory capacity in a single tower for design, content creation or scientific computing. Buyers who require more than 768 GB of RAM or more than two physical processors should look at a different platform. The four 3.5-inch expansion bays allow additional local storage if required.

Dual Xeon Gold 6126 processors deliver 12 cores each

The defining specification is the pair of Xeon Gold 6126 CPUs running at 2.60 GHz, providing 12 cores per processor in a tower chassis. This core count and clock speed determine whether the workstation meets the throughput needs of your professional applications.

Questions about this item

Will the 512GB SSD and 4x 3.5" bays accept the 3.5" hard drives I already own?

The workstation has four 3.5" bays available, so existing 3.5" drives can be installed; the 512GB SSD is already fitted for the operating system.

How do I confirm both Xeon Gold 6126 processors and the 64GB DDR4 are detected after first boot?

Open Task Manager or System Information in Windows 11 Pro; both processors should show 12 cores each at 2.60GHz and total installed memory should read 64GB DDR4.

Does the box include the K2000 graphics card and Windows 11 Pro licence, or must I buy them separately?

The K2000 GPU and a pre-installed Windows 11 Pro licence are both supplied; only additional storage drives or extra DDR4 memory would need separate purchase.
