Dual Xeon Platinum 8160 Workstation

The Dell T7820 tower workstation pairs two Intel Xeon Platinum 8160 processors, each running at 2.10GHz with 24 cores for 48 total cores. This configuration targets engineers, designers, and data analysts who need sustained multi-threaded performance for rendering, simulation, and large-scale content creation. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled for immediate deployment.

32GB DDR4 Memory and 1TB SSD Storage

Installed memory is 32GB of DDR4, expandable to 768GB across available slots for projects that outgrow the baseline capacity. The 1TB solid-state drive delivers fast boot and application load times while holding active project files; four 3.5-inch expansion bays remain open for additional bulk storage when the primary drive fills.

NVIDIA M4000 Graphics and Tower Chassis

A dedicated NVIDIA M4000 GPU drives professional visual workloads such as CAD, multi-display setups, and content creation pipelines. The tower form factor weighs 55 units and includes front-panel LEDs for power, Ethernet, and USB status. Maximum processor capacity is already reached with the two installed CPUs, so future upgrades focus on memory and storage rather than compute sockets.

Questions about this item

Can I keep my existing DDR4 memory modules when upgrading to this T7820 with 32GB installed?

The system uses DDR4 memory and supports up to 768GB total capacity, so your existing DDR4 modules can be retained and added alongside the factory-installed 32GB.

How can I confirm both Xeon Platinum 8160 processors are recognised after first boot?

Open Task Manager or System Information in Windows 11 Pro; it will show 48 logical processors across the two physical CPUs, confirming both are active.

Does the package include the NVIDIA M4000 graphics card and the 1TB SSD, or must I source them separately?

The M4000 GPU and 1TB SSD are pre-installed inside the tower, so no separate purchase is required for those components.
