Dual Xeon Platinum 8160 workstation

This Dell T7820 tower delivers 20 cores at 2.10GHz for professional design, engineering and rendering workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed so the system is ready for immediate deployment in CAD, content-creation or data-analysis environments.

Expansion bays and memory headroom

Four 3.5-inch drive bays allow additional local storage without external enclosures. The 256GB DDR4 configuration leaves 512GB of headroom toward the 768GB maximum for future memory upgrades.

512GB SSD and M4000 graphics

The solid-state drive provides fast access to applications and active project files for everyday professional work. The dedicated M4000 GPU handles multi-display CAD and rendering tasks, while heavier GPU compute or larger datasets will require a higher-tier graphics card.

Questions about this item

Will the dual Xeon Platinum 8160 processors throttle under sustained all-core workloads?

The workstation ships with two Xeon Platinum 8160 CPUs, each with 10 cores running at 2.10 GHz, and the chassis supports the maximum of two processors, so the cooling is designed for this exact configuration.

How loud and hot does the tower get when rendering all day?

The 55 kg chassis includes four 3.5-inch drive bays and front-to-rear airflow; under continuous load the fans ramp up but remain within workstation-class acoustic limits for office environments.

What display connectors does the M4000 provide for my monitors?

The installed M4000 GPU offers four DisplayPort 1.2 outputs, allowing up to four 4K displays or mixed-resolution multi-monitor setups without additional adapters.
