Tower desktop with Core Ultra 9 285K

This Dell EBT2250 tower ships new with a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor, 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, and a wired keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

16GB DDR5 5600 MHz memory

The system comes with 16GB of DDR5 running at 5600 MHz as the single installed module. Buyers who need more capacity for virtual machines, heavy rendering or large datasets will have to add memory themselves.

Suited to office, education

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 handles everyday displays and video playback but cannot drive modern games or GPU-accelerated compute workloads. Users who need discrete graphics performance should consider a different system.

Questions about this item

How does the Core Ultra 9 285K's 5.7 GHz turbo speed behave once the system is running real workloads?

The processor can boost up to 5.7 GHz on active cores when thermal headroom allows, while the 24-core design and 76 MB total cache keep multi-threaded tasks moving without waiting for memory.

What does the Thunderbolt 4 port actually let me connect, and what limits apply?

One Thunderbolt 4 port provides 4K video output and high-speed data; the HDMI 2.0 port adds a second 4K display, and all other USB ports are standard Type-A connections.

Will this tower fit on my desk and what clearance does it need for the ports?

The chassis measures 372.9 mm high, 173 mm wide and 426.9 mm deep; rear-facing ports include Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, Ethernet and multiple USB, so allow space behind for cables.
